David’s yoga journey started with the Martial Art of southern style Shaolin Kung Fu. This training sparked his passion for health and exercise. David was able to take yoga as a PE credit in High School, which was the second big step on his journey. Finally, the biggest step towards yoga was taking one 26/2 class in Bethesda and immediately thinking "this is it. I've found what I was looking for." David’s focus when teaching is to minimize injuries and maximize results. He emphasizes proper form and body mechanics when working with students so they can have the confidence to assume poses and exercises safely and effectively on their own.
