Join PureFire’s book club where we'll be diving deep into the world of conscious breathing as discussed in James Nestor's book, 'Breath', led by Catherine Dahlman. Get ready for a comprehensive journey to understand the impact of breath on our physical and mental well-being, and how it can significantly enhance our overall quality of life.

Here are some of the benefits you can expect from practicing Pranayama:

  • A clear and contented mind.

  • Deliberate and clean decision-making.

  • Deep and restful sleep.

  • Easy digestion.

  • Balanced emotional state(s).

  • Comfort and ease in stressful moments.

  • Clean-burning energy.

  • Healthy appetite.

During our sessions, you'll be guided through simple body movements to prepare for a successful seated breathing practice, explore various breathing techniques highlighted in the book, and gain valuable insights into the anatomy of the respiratory system and the autonomic nervous system. We’ll also have Q&A sessions woven throughout.

Join your fellow students and elevate your yoga practice to new heights. Discover the art of tapping into the power of prana within your body and your life.

Stay tuned for our subsequent classes where we'll delve even further into the enriching world of breathwork.
