Breathwork Workshop: Kriyas, Kumbhaka and Bandhas

  • PureFire Yoga 7819 Norfolk Avenue Bethesda, MD, 20814 United States (map)

Join us to explore the ancient art of Kriyas, known for their purifying effects on the body, mind, and spirit.

Learn about Kumbhakas, breathing techniques of breath retentions, and Bandhas, which translate from Sanskrit as “secrets’ or “locks,” that help focus our breathwork.

Discover the secrets of stoking Agni, our digestive fire, through practices like Agni Sara and Nauli.

Our class begins with body movement to prepare for effective breathwork. Each technique will be thoroughly explained, demonstrated, and practiced. Feel free to take notes and ask questions during the session. For the best experience, please come with an empty stomach, avoiding solid foods for 3 to 4 hours and liquids for 60 to 90 minutes beforehand.

This session is for yogis ready to elevate their practice.
